Hey there!
I’m Dylan Gattey, a frontend/iOS engineer who calls San Francisco home. I develop, design, teach, learn, and experiment.
I strive to make the world around me a better place, be that the web or my communities in real life. Empathy is essential <3

While I don’t see value in tying myself strongly to certain technologies, I’m most accomplished in Swift. I’ve also worked extensively with Javascript, Java, CSS/HTML, and Objective C. Check out LinkedIn or Github to learn more.

Reading
These are some articles I’ve gotten great value out of and want to share, as well as some novels I’m currently reading.
Online
Google's probably found even more versions of me out there, but you can follow and contact me on these curated interwebs.
Offline
When I’m not coding, I get outdoors, travel, eat, cook, and listen to a ton of music. Soccer is my favorite sport outside of skiing, but nothing beats the ease of getting around SF by bike. The Salktantay Trail to Machu Picchu was the most epic backpack I’ve ever been on - stars without light pollution are astounding. I’m a big fan of maps and geography too. In an alternate life, I would have been an architect. I settle by playing Cities Skylines.
